Hi Sara, sorry for my delay in reply as I was in Uganda without laptop. Unfortunately I still haven’t been to Deverana so cannot say anything about that one. I think Thermen Bussloo would be best for multiple days of relaxation. Their sister location in Wijchen, Thermen Berendonck, is awesome too, but unfortunately the new hotel there will take up to March 2024 to finish. Regards, Elisa

Dear Barry sorry for my delayed reply as I was traveling. Elysium is about 20 min walk from the nearest bus station so not ideal. Thermen Barendrecht same story. Check Google Maps or 9292.nl for detailed route description. The sauna in Leiden, which apparently has been taken over by another company recently and is now called BLUE Wellnessresort, is right next to the station, which is worth a try but for sure not the same as an outdoor sauna as it’s high up in a tower. Top class are Fort Resort Beemster and Thermen Bussloo, but those are not in the Rotterdam area. Kind regards, Elisa

Fins Lapland ligt dermate noordelijk (bij de poolgrens) dat dat geen issue is, althans tot op heden in ieder geval. Het is juist de reden dat Scandinavie steeds populairder wordt als wintersportbestemming i.v.m. sneeuwzekerheid t.o.v. landen als Oostenrijk en Frankrijk, waar de sneeuw het door klimaatverandering steeds meer laat afweten.
