If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Name, Email, Subject and Message are mandatory fields when contacting the FlitterFever.com travel blog via the contact form. Optional fields include Website and Phone Number. The information provided by submitting a contact form is sent to info@flitterfever.com. We will keep contact form submissions in our inbox for max. 2 years for customer service purposes. We will not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.

The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged by iThemes Security to check for malicious activity and to protect this site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates. Who we share your data with

Anonymous numeric Google Analytics data of our website may be in rare cases exchanged with our partners for marketing purposes. Our hosting provider Siteground (European server) may also get access to our website upon request to solve technical issues to smoothen our website’s visitors experience.

This site uses BackupBuddy to backup the content, media, etc. of this website on a regular basis. These back ups will be kept for 2 years.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
