2022 update: Naples is still awful. Avoid at all costs. If you have to use the airport, get out of town as quickly as possible. We made the mistake of staying a few days and were blatantly cheated by the hotel staff, waiters, and taxis. My Sicilian grandmother used to say the Neapolitans were dangerous. She was right.
